Still missing meals!

I am still missing random meals. I've noticed that when I do swear, its usually when I'm having conversations with myself. I try very hard not to swear in front of Maddie because honestly there is nothing more disturbing then the word douche bag passing through a three year olds lips (even more disturbing when she used it properly when somebody cut me off in traffic)....so I learned a while ago to watch my mouth in front of her. I find when I miss meals I am completely by myself, usually working, or reading, or watching TV~dumb, dumb, dumb.

My very best friend, and my partner in this is looking forward to Easter when she can celebrate the resurrection...of her cursing.

I'm still convinced I'll be cured.

You make me laugh so much....you are doing good though. Making a huge effort. I agree, nothing like hearing a bad word come out of your kids mouth....better now than later to get it over with.

Um...yeah. I have found that I have had to curtail my mouth as well in front of my 5 year old. When she looked straight at her father and called him an A**hole after he punished her, I knew right away that a.) She is going to be a handfull as a teenager and b.) I really need to stop calling him that when she is in earshot.

Here's wishing you many, many meals for good behavior!

If you want to eat any meals today, don't go to ChiTown girl's blog. She has a hilarious (but VERY profane) posting. Save it for after Lent...or don't read it aloud!

Oh goodness, the auditory "image" of your pretty girl bluring "douche bag" is too much to handle. Too funny! Kids, they say the darndest things, huh? I'll stick to Goldens just a little while longer...

As a Muslim, life is very interesting married to a Catholic. He gives up eating between meals for Lent, which makes me feel SO GUILTY as I walk around with my never ending bowls of "snacks". Ha!
