The Madster and I found these Medieval Styrofoam gems at Target for a buck, chaos has ensued ever since.
You can clearly see from the photo that our weaponry has required some repair in order to continue our duels. Duct tape works best.
My fighting style tends to be more reserved and civilized. While Maddie chooses to go balls out running at me full speed like Mel Gibson in Braveheart (Mel Gibson in any movie actually).

It's so much fun to play-fight, and no one gets hurt! We used to use paper-towel inner tubes or Christmas wrap tubes. Awesome.
